If you know your way around Linux, have a solid understanding of networking, and some hands-on experience with servers and hardware, we’d love to hear from you. 


Your day looks like this:

  • You monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements;
  • Ensure security and efficiency of Hosting Infrastructure;
  • Install and configure software and hardware;
  • Ensure security through backups;
  • Upgrade systems with new releases;
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages;
  • Maintain, add new, monitor, customer VPS's;
  • Communicate with Customers on infrastructure changes, VPS level changes, or virtualization system level that affects said customers;
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues;
  • Setup & Document new SERVERware clusters;
  • Monitor system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely;
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals;
  • Research and recommend new approaches to improve the system. 


Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Linux OS;
  • Good Networking skills;
  • Basic experience/understanding of hardware and servers;
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.


This is how you stand out:

  • Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator;
  • Familiarity with LXC or other virtualisations like KVM, VM, etc;
  • Familiarity with VoIP/SIP;
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools;
  • Bachelor's degree in IT.
